A high over the southern Tasman Sea extends a strengthening ridge and a fresh southeasterly wind flow into southern Queensland waters. Tropical Cyclone Winston near Fiji will produce a long period easterly swell that is likely to reach the southern Queensland coast during Monday and Tuesday.

Seas1.5 metres, increasing to 1.5 to 2.5 metres during the morning.

Swell : Easterly 1.5 metres, increasing to 1.5 to 2 metres offshore.
