Ex-Tropical Cyclone Winston lies over the Coral Sea well offshore of the Mackay Coast and will continue to move northwestwards during the rest of today. A slow moving high pressure system over the southern Tasman Sea extends a firm ridge into southern Queensland waters.

Sunshine Coast Waters Forecast: Double Island Point to Cape Moreton

Winds : Southeasterly 15 to 20 knots.

Seas1 to 1.5 metres.

Swell : Easterly around 1 metre.

Weather : Cloudy. 80% chance of showers. The chance of a thunderstorm offshore.
