Ex-Tropical Cyclone Winston lies over the Coral Sea well offshore of the Capricornia Coast and will continue to move northwestwards during the rest of today. A slow moving high pressure system will enter the Tasman Sea today, extending a firm ridge into southern Queensland waters.

Sunshine Coast Waters Forecast: Double Island Point to Cape Moreton

WindsSoutheasterly 15 to 20 knots, reaching up to 25 knots inshore during the day.

Seas1.5 to 2 metres.

Swell : Easterly around 1 metre, increasing to 1.5 metres offshore.

Weather : Partly cloudy. 70% chance of showers. The chance of a thunderstorm offshore during this afternoon and evening.
