A large high over southern Australia is forecast to move eastwards across the south of the continent over the weekend. The high should become centred close to southeast Queensland on Sunday with winds easing over far southern waters as a result.

WindsSouth to southwesterly 15 to 20 knots tending south to southeasterly 10 to 15 knots during the day.

Seas 1 to 2 metres, decreasing to 1 metre during the morning.

Swell : South to southeasterly around 1 metre offshore, increasing to 1 to 1.5 metres by early evening.
