A slow moving high pressure system over the southern Tasman Sea extends a firm ridge into southern Queensland waters.

Sunshine Coast Waters Forecast: Double Island Point to Cape Moreton

Winds : Southeasterly 10 to 15 knots, reaching 15 to 20 knots north of Noosa Head.

Seas :Around 1 metre, increasing to 1 to 1.5 metres north of Noosa Head.

Swell : Easterly 1.5 metres.

Weather : Partly cloudy. 40% chance of showers later tonight.
