Weather Situation

A slow moving high pressure system over the Tasman Sea extends a firm ridge into southern Queensland waters. The high will weaken on Tuesday though a new high will shift east into the Tasman Sea, maintaining the ridge.

Sunshine Coast Waters Forecast: Double Island Point to Cape Moreton

Winds : Easterly 10 to 15 knots turning southeasterly in the evening.

Seas : 1 to 1.5 metres, decreasing to 1 metre during the afternoon.

Swell : Easterly 1 to 1.5 metres, decreasing to around 1 metre during the morning.

Weather : Partly cloudy. 60% chance of showers.
