A high near New Zealand will gradually weaken over the next few days. The high extends a ridge along the Queensland east coast, which will also weaken over the next few days. A trough will move northwards along the New South Wales coast today, possibly reaching far southern waters late this afternoon with a weak southerly change, before stagnating and drifting south once more.
