A ridge extends along the east coast of Queensland. The ridge is expected to strengthen over the next few days as a high moves eastwards across the the Tasman Sea.

WindsSoutheasterly 15 to 20 knots increasing to 20 to 25 knots in the late afternoon.

Seas1 to 1.5 metres, increasing to 1.5 to 2.5 metres during the morning.
