A large high pressure system in the Tasman Sea extends a ridge along the east coast of Queensland. The high will shift eastwards over the coming days, with the ridge gradually weakening along the southern east coast of Queensland.

Winds : Easterly 10 to 15 knots.

Seas : Around 1 metre.

Swell : East to southeasterly around 1 metre.

Weather :  Partly cloudy. 40% chance of showers.

Clean conditions early with winds out of the W/SW, with waves in the 2 foot range as the tide moves in , High Tide at Aleaxandra Headland at 8.30am. The northern open beachies Coolum through to Sunshine Beach, The central beaches of Twin Waters and Maroochydore and Currumudi to Dicky Beach all worthwhile a surf this morning. Get into it early as the wind will turn onshore from the East at 10-15 knots. The patrolled beaches of Mooloolaba and Noosa looking the best, swim safe between the red and yellow flags. The water temp at 21c. Enjoy your day in the waves . Ýo.
