A high to the south of Tasmania will move eastwards into the Tasman Sea and continue moving eastwards to be east of New Zealand by late Thursday. The high will maintain a ridge along the east Queensland coast for the next few days.

Sunshine Coast Waters Forecast: Double Island Point to Cape Moreton

Winds : Southeasterly 10 to 15 knots, reaching up to 20 knots north of Maroochydore in the morning.

Seas : 1.5 metres.

Swell : 1.5 metres.

Weather : Cloudy. 90% chance of showers.
