A slow moving high near New Zealand will maintain a firm ridge over southern Queensland coast during the forecast period. A trough will move west over the southern Coral Sea during the next few days, most likely approaching the southern Queensland coast late in the week.

Winds :  Southeasterly 15 to 20 knots.

Seas : Around 1 metre, increasing to 1 to 1.5 metres during the afternoon.

Swell : Easterly 1 to 1.5 metres, increasing to 1.5 to 2 metres offshore.

Weather : Partly cloudy. 40% chance of showers.

A nice morning around the coast with around 3 feet of E/SE swell. Light winds from the west, but will strengthen from the SE at around 15-20 knots throughout the day. The open beach breaks are the go early with the outgoing tide. High tide at 6.00 am and low at 12.30 pm. Head to the protected points out of the wind as it freshens. Twin Waters, Coolum, The Maroochy stretch and Currumundi early, with The Bluff, Pt. Cartwrighta nd few smaller ones on the outer points of Noosa.. The patrolled beaches of Mooloolaba and Noosa the best with the water temp at 25c. Enjoy your day in the waves. Ýo
