A high near New Zealand will move slowly eastwards, maintaining a ridge along the east Queensland coast for the next few days. A coastal trough is expected to enter southern Queensland waters during Saturday.

Seas1 to 1.5 metres, increasing to 1 to 2 metres offshore.
