Weather : Partly cloudy. 95% chance of showers. A thunderstorm likely, possibly severe, with possible hail offshore north of Maroochydore during this afternoon and evening.

It really is fro the desperate ones, check along the coolum through to Sunshine beaches and along the Kawana stretch as the tide moves in ( High Tide at 10.15am) The patrolled beaches all look good early with Kings Beach the pick of the spots.
