A weak high over the northern Tasman Sea extends a ridge along the Queensland east coast. Another high over the Great Australian Bight will move east into the Tasman Sea during the weekend maintaining the ridge along the coast.

Swell : Easterly below 1 metre, increasing to 1 to 1.5 metres offshore.
