Winds :Northerly 10 to 15 knots at first, reaching 20 knots offshore. Winds increasing to 15 to 20 knots throughout during the morning and reaching up to 25 knots during the afternoon and evening

Seas :1 to 1.5 metres, increasing to 1.5 to 2 metres around midday.

A slight increase in swell overnight, waves in the 1-2 foot range, however nothing to get to excited about. Winds from the NW early tending Northerly during the day. High tide at 7.09 am and low at 1.23 pm. The northern beaches Coolum through to Sunshine Beach, along the central and Kawana beach stretches, if you can find a bank on the early high tide……The patrolled beaches looking good, with Kings Beach the best when the northerly strengthens.
