Weather Situation
Ex-Tropical Cyclone Winston lies over the southern Coral Sea well offshore of the southern Queensland coast and will continue to move northwestwards during today. The system is producing a large and powerful easterly swell, leading to dangerous surf conditions. Waves should then gradually decrease from Sunday as Ex-Tropical Cyclone Winston weakens and shifts further north. A slow moving high pressure system will enter the Tasman Sea on Monday, extending a firm ridge into southern Queensland waters.
