The strong southerly winds has brought a little more swell in overnight. Expect around one metre of swell with larger set waves more so on the northern beach breaks. The wind will get strong early at around 15-25 knots from the SE, an outgoing high tide with a low at 10.51am. When the wind picks up Moffats, Pt.Cartwright Alexandra Headland and the Maroochy stretch will be the best picks. Coolum, Pita street, Peregian and A-Bay are the early picks. The afternoon high tide at 5.34pm will see some increase in the swell. The patrolled beaches of Mooloolaba, Alexandra Headland and Noosa, the pick of the spots for a dip in the briney.
