A high in the Tasman Sea extends a ridge along the east coast of Queensland. A new high will move into the Tasman Sea on Thursday and move slowly eastwards on Friday, maintaining the ridge along the east Queensland coast.

Sunshine Coast Waters Forecast: Double Island Point to Cape Moreton

WindsEasterly 10 to 15 knots, reaching up to 20 knots offshore.

Seas : 1 to 1.5 metres.

Swell : Easterly around 1 metre, increasing to 1.5 metres offshore.

Weather : Easterly around 1 metre, increasing to 1.5 metres offshore.
