A high near New Zealand will move slowly eastwards, maintaining a ridge along the east Queensland coast for the next few days. A coastal trough is expected to enter southern Queensland waters during Saturday.

Sunshine Coast Waters Forecast: Double Island Point to Cape Moreton

Winds : Southeasterly 15 to 20 knots.

Seas : 1 to 1.5 metres, increasing to 1 to 2 metres offshore.

Swell : East to southeasterly 1 to 1.5 metres.

Weather : Partly cloudy. 90% chance of showers.
