A trough near Gladstone is expected to shift slowly northwards during today. A high near Tasmania will move slowly eastwards over the next few days, extending a ridge through southern Queensland waters in the wake of the trough.

Sunshine Coast Waters Forecast: Double Island Point to Cape Moreton

WindsSoutherly 15 to 20 knots turning southeasterly in the early afternoon.

Seas :  1 to 1.5 metres, increasing to 1.5 to 2 metres during the afternoon.

Swell : Easterly around 1 metre, increasing to 1 to 1.5 metres offshore.

Weather :  Partly cloudy. 60% chance of showers.
