A surface trough and associated fresh southerly wind change will extend north through southern Queensland waters during today. Winds should weaken on Wednesday as a new weak high centre moves over southern Queensland waters.

Sunshine Coast Waters Forecast: Double Island Point to Cape Moreton

WindsWesterly 10 to 15 knots ahead of a southeasterly wind change in the late morning and early afternoon. Winds reaching up to 20 knots south of Maroochydore in the early afternoon.

Seas Around 1 metre, increasing to 1 to 1.5 metres around midday, then decreasing below 1 metre by early evening.

Swell : Southeasterly below 1 metre, increasing to 1 to 1.5 metres offshore by early evening.
