Weather Situation

A high over southeastern Australia extends a firm ridge into much of Queensland. The ridge will relax today as the high moves further east and weakens. A trough will move east over southern Queensland waters during Monday afternoon. A new high will then move east into southeastern Australia during Monday evening and Tuesday, extending a strong ridge into Queensland in the wake of the trough.

Winds : East to southeasterly about 10 knots becoming north to northeasterly in the middle of the day.

Seas : Below 1 metre.

Swell : Southerly around 1 metre, increasing to 1 to 2 metres offshore.
