Winds :  Southeasterly 20 to 25 knots, reaching up to 30 knots in the morning, before easing to 15 to 20 knots south of Noosa Heads in the afternoon.

Seas : 2 to 3 metres, decreasing to 1.5 to 2 metres around midday.

Swell :  Southeasterly 1 to 1.5 metres, increasing to 1.5 to 2 metres offshore.

Strong Sth Easterlies are forecast for the day, coupled with a SE swell in the 2-3 foot range. Rather wind affected early along the open beach breaks, with the north facing points offering the cleaner but smaller waves. An early high tide at 5.58 am and a low at 11.58 pm. Rain showers will be dominate throughout the day along the coast with Mooloolaba and Noosa the best of the patrolled beaches. The water temp at 22c.
