Winds : West to northwesterly 10 to 15 knots, reaching up to 20 knots offshore in the morning. Winds turning north to northeasterly in the early afternoon then tending north to northwesterly in the late evening.

Seas : 1 to 2 metres, decreasing below 1.5 metres during the morning, then decreasing below 1 metre around midday.

Swell : Southeasterly around 1 metre, increasing to 1 to 1.5 metres offshore.

Groundhod day, with the small swell continuing in the 1 ft range. Light W/NW winds early on an outgoing tide , low at 8.27 am and a high at 3.27 pm. The winds will strengthen to 10 -15 knots before an afternoon NE sea breeze. The northern beaches ans along the Kawana stretch is showing alot more promise than the rest of the beaches this morning, really is for the desperate ones. All the patrolled beaches are looking good with the mild surf conditions. The water temp at 22c. Enjoy your day in the waves .Ýo
