Weather Situation
A high to the east of New Zealand extends a weak ridge along the southeast Queensland coast. A coastal trough is expected to enter southern Queensland waters during Saturday and extend northwards during the rest of the weekend. A new high will move into the Great Australian Bight over the weekend and will extend a ridge through southern Queensland waters in the wake of the trough.
